Speaking of time… We have none – amiright? Staying active when and where you can can have a positive impact on your physical and mental health, not to mention give you the clarity needed to power through your work. According to an article from LiveStrong.com:

One way that exercise can help boost productivity at work is through alertness. When you exercise, you are also increasing blood flow to the brain, which can help sharpen your awareness and make you more ready to tackle your next big project. A protein called BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor) boosts your cognitive abilities; and BDNF is triggered by exercise according to the American Council on Exercise.

Her’s an idea: keep some free-weights close by, resistance bands in your desk drawer, or an under desk elliptical for optimum multi-tasking! A few minutes in between calls or playtime will get your heart pumping and do you body and brain some good!
